Hugo Hromic

DERI Profile:

Hugo has a Degree in Engineering and a Masters in Computer Science, both from University of Concepción, Chile. His masters thesis was done in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), and titled “Natural Language Dialogue Planning using Machine Learning approaches”. Currently he’s a PhD student in DERI since October 2011, working on the ROBUST project, where he’s researching for large scale and efficient approaches for community analisys, data mining and graph processing in real-time and stream-based. His primary advisor for his Ph.D. studies is Dr. Conor Hayes, and his co-supervisor is Dr. Marcel Karnstedt.
