Peyman Nasirifard

Peyman Nasirifard is a Ph.D. student in computer science at Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI), National University of Ireland, Galway, where he works in the Ecospace Integrated Project. Prior to that, he was involved in several other European funded projects.

He holds a M.Sc. degree in computer science from the University of Hannover, Germany and a B.Sc. in computer software engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, Iran.

Research Interests

His main research areas include access control in collaborative software, social network analysis and recommendation systems. He has published several papers in International workshops, conferences and journals (upcoming). His main area of research in UIMR is to explore how recommendation systems could ease and enhance the usage of access control models in social and collaborative platforms. Towards this direction, Peyman works towards dynamic policy advisors, as validating mechanisms for access control policies within social platforms.
