Samantha Lam is a Ph.D. student in social network analysis and modelling at the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI), National University of Ireland, Galway, where she works in the CLIQUE Project. Her primary advisor for her Ph.D. studies is Dr. Conor Hayes.
She most recently graduated with an M.Sc. in Informatics at the University of Edinburgh and holds a B.Sc. in Mathematical Sciences from the University College Cork.
Her main research areas include social network analysis and modelling. Her current project investigates generalised blockmodelling, which looks at role and community finding.
